MONTHLY MUSINGS: June

MONTHLY MUSINGS: June

It's been a busy couple of months over here at crescent & crow. We launched a new candle collection that coincided with a brand new shop section full of little things to help keep those weekend vibes flowing no matter what day it is. And, our summer candles launched - yay summer!

Speaking of summer... I'm not gonna lie, I really don't enjoy summer much these days. While I do love the arrival of a brand new season, beach days, all of the flowers blooming, the fresh fruits and veggies, and it's overall carefree feel; summer is one I tire of quickly - by the end of July I'm totally over it. I think it's because as I get older I know what I really like, what I feel comfortable wearing, and how I like to feel in general - and it usually doesn't involve sweating, lol.

I love coziness. It is the one thing I have to create for myself everyday. Cozy blankets, low lighting at night, and a good book (or movie or show), and of course lots of candles.

Anywho, enough about my unpopular opinion, here are some things I have been loving this month.

Currently Burning: Island Passion - Tropical fruits and exotic florals will transport you to a lush island full of gorgeous things .

Beach Read: The It Girl by Ruth Ware - I love a good thriller, and this one did not disappoint. I have to be honest, it took a while for me to get into this story, but once I did I didn't want to put it down.

Listening To: M. Ward's latest album Supernatural Thing. He is a forever favorite of mine and this album is awesome.

Wearing on Repeat: A white button-down shirt and jeans. I have become the person who has a "uniform". But honestly, it's always a good idea to have an outfit formula that you are comfortable with for those days when you just don't know what to wear. Plus, you can change the feel of it with accessories which is fun. Lately I've been adding a little stack of Driftwood Bangles.

Talk to you soon!

xoxo,

Lauren
